Master Mind Scholarship Details

The Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €10,000 plus (+) a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS). Scholarship holders pay only an administrative enrollment fee. The grant covers accommodation costs, insurance, and a significant portion of living expenses. The mobility duration is one academic year for a master’s program of 60 ECTS and two academic years for a master’s program of 120 ECTS.  

Eligibility Requirements for the Scholarship

To be considered for the Master Mind Scholarship, applicants must:
  • Apply to a master's degree program at a higher education institution in Flanders.
  • Have a high standard of academic performance with a grade point average of 3.5 out of 4.0.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
  • Be accepted by the host institution.

Required Documents for the Scholarship

Applicants must submit the following documents:
  1. Passport photo
  2. International passport or national ID
  3. Curriculum Vitae (including American GPA out of 4.0, publications, academic awards, previous scholarships, etc.)
  4. Transcript of records; if not in Dutch, French, German, or English, provide a certified translation.
  5. English language test results or a letter of exemption from the host university.
  6. Letter of motivation in English
  7. Two signed letters of recommendation in English.
 

How to Apply for the 2024 Master Mind Scholarship

Follow these steps to apply:
  1. Check eligibility and see if the chosen Flemish institution participates.
  2. Submit your application to the host institution.
  3. The host institution preselects eligible applications.
  4. The host institution starts the Master Mind Scholarship application procedure through Mobility-Online.
  5. Receive an email notifying you of the selection for the scholarship.
  6. Register in the Mobility-Online tool and complete your application file.
  7. The host institution validates and submits the completed application file in the Mobility-Online tool before the April 28, 2024, deadline.
